I would not be bringing up my Layer Tennis match in this space again except for that Scott made up a whole viewer thing of it which is crazy. No one’s ever written jquery for me before and I didn’t even ask.

But anyway, I’ll have it now for my days of decline*, to gaze at nostagically, thinking back to the time when things seemed somewhat less desperate and I hadn’t given up all hope entirely.

*I am talking about next week, approximately.

All I was trying to do was get in on a Layer Tennis qualifying match. So how I ended up on the top of the card, I have no idea. I guess it was because everyone else will be at SXSW.

But anyway, this is happening. This Friday, March 13. Me vs. Mr. Dan Grzeca.

The twist on the match is, contrary to the entire history of Layer Tennis up til now, our match is going to be mostly-to-entirely analog. On paper with pencils and stuff. We’re still working out how exactly that’s going to go. But it will definitely be…it will be a thing. No question.

UPDATE: This shit is for real, people. The coin has been flipped and the crowd is already buzzing. Stagefright already showing its effects. I hope Coudal has beer in the office.
